The Muirindessi Randonneur

Here is another wonderful custom bike project. This time, I was able to work with an up and coming frame builder out of Eugene, Oregon. His name is Andrew Lu and his brand is called Muirandessi.

He is known primarily for his simple fixed gear bikes but he was up to building a true randonneur for me.

That wrap-around chainstay is lovely!

Here is his simplified logo laser cut in stainless steel and silver-soldered to the headtube. Nice touch.

The next step was paint.

Keith Anderson is my go-to man for paint and I asked him if he could match the shade of blue on the Gilles Berthoud bags. I also asked for a very fine gold lug lining.
